Places Leisure Maldon - Big Sister Project
Places Leisure Maldon - Big Sister initiative is made by girls for girls. Delivered in partnership with Women in Sport, it aims to create a safe and empowering space for girls aged 9-15 to exercise, without fear of judgement whilst breaking down the barriers associated with puberty. We offer free (subject to eligibility criteria) or discounted Big Sister memberships at our centres in Maldon.

Your Big Sister Membership includes:
- Unlimited gym use during Junior Gym hours, which includes a gym induction (11-15 year olds)
- Unlimited swimming
- Age appropriate group workout classes including exclusive 'We Move' classes
- Friendly on-site team, to support you through your activity
- Free access to Places Leisure App and Virtual Studio which includes a Big Sister channel
Please be aware that your parent/guardian must attend site for your initial signing up process. Free membership for girls who meet eligibility criteria (in receipt of any benefits), 50% discount for all other girls. To find out more information or sign up visit our website HERE.

At Blackwater Leisure Centre.
