ECC: SEND Careers Advice Service
The SEND Careers Advice Service gives young people information, advice, and guidance about their options and ensures they have the information they need to make decisions about their future. This service is for young people aged 14-25 with SEND who have a current ESSEX Local Authority -Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or who are in receipt of Higher Needs Funding.
Young people with an EHCP will be contacted by a SEND Careers Advisor to introduce themselves when they start Year 9 and then again from Year 10 to explore options and pathways that may be taken in the future.
