Essex Wellbeing Service
If you're an Essex resident you can turn to us for help with quitting smoking; managing your weight and/or your child’s; becoming a volunteer; gaining support with social isolation, and making long-term friendships. We'll also cover some of the areas that contribute towards these lifestyle changes, such as alcohol consumption, physical activity, healthy eating, falls prevention, and mental health.Through the delivery of NHS Health Checks, we also help to identify early signs of poor health and identify lifestyle changes required.
We support people in the community and at work with a range of health, wellbeing and day to day needs. We help people access information and support to stay healthy, safe and well from help to quit smoking, to supporting families adapt to 'new normal'. We also coordinate requests and referrals for everyday tasks and connect them to our volunteers.
